As Muslim countries, we must lead the way against Israel.

At the D8 summit, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for an arms embargo on Israel.

Addressing the meeting, the Turkish President said that Israel should end the arms embargo and trade. Israel can be held accountable by isolating it globally.

He said that as Islamic countries, we should lead the way against Israel.

Earlier, the Iranian President urged the D8 countries to unite to stop the Israeli attacks, saying that Muslim countries should unite to stop the Israeli attacks in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria. The brutal killings in Gaza have revealed new dimensions of terror.
