Karachi: The price of gold in Pakistan has been on a downward trend for the third consecutive day.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan has decreased by Rs 1,000 to Rs 275,899.99.
Similarly, the price of 10 ragam gold has decreased by Rs 858 to Rs 236,540.
The price of gold in the global market has also been on a downward trend, with gold falling by $10 to Rs 2,647 per ounce.
It should be noted that the price of gold per tola had decreased by Rs 2,100 yesterday.

It should be remembered that buying gold is traditionally considered a safe investment whose value increases in times of inflation, political and economic instability.
It has been used as a currency and form of wealth for centuries. When investors feel uncertain about other assets, they often buy gold.
Last year, the method for determining the price of gold in Pakistan was changed, under which the price of gold was set at $20 per ounce above the international market rate.
