Madison school shooting: Congress once again demands gun control

According to a CNN report, the 17-year-old suspect entered the Abundant Life Christian School and opened fire suddenly, causing two people to succumb to their injuries and die on the spot.

Six students were injured in the gunfire, two of whom are said to be in critical condition. The attacker, who was also a student of the same school, was killed in police retaliatory fire.

According to Madison Police Chief Barnes, the incident occurred at Abundant Life Christian School around 11 a.m. Police responded to the scene after receiving a report.

He said the body of the suspected attacker was found inside the building when police arrived. Barnes said the attacker was a minor student and that no shots were fired by police.
